The crown is the concrete top of the chimney that protects it from water. Cracks or damage here can lead to serious leaks and structural issues. In order to repair mortar voids, we remove and replace crumbling mortar between bricks to restore the structural integrity and appearance of the chimney firebox.

2. Chimney Cap & Chase Cover Replacement

Install or replace chimney caps and metal chase covers to keep out rain, debris, animals, and sparks.

3. Damper Repair or Replacement

A faulty damper affects airflow and heating efficiency. We fix or install new top-mounted dampers.

4. Firebox Panel Replacements

If the panels inside your firebox are cracked or deteriorating, we replace them with new fire-rated panels.

5. Woodstove Brick Replacement

If bricks are missing, cracked or deteriorating, we replace them with new fire-rated bricks.

6. Animal Proofing 

We safely install a California Code sized mesh to properly animal proof .

7. Log Lighter Replacements

A log lighter is a metal pipe with gas ports that’s installed in a wood-burning fireplace to help start a fire quickly and easily — using natural gas or propane instead of kindling.
